Purchase Elmo Party Supplies To Have A Sesame Street ThemeThere are some things in the world which never change, and one of those is Elmo. No matter how old a person gets, they'll still have fun watching the old videos like 'Elmo in Grouchland'. It's such a classic, and the kids can play right along with the video. "Elmo fell into the hole," it's like a Rocky Horror Picture Show' for kids. All you need to make a birthday special is make it be an Elmo theme by purchasing Elmo party supplies. One advantage of using Elmo is nearly everybody can draw him; so, if you're going to make an Elmo cake, then it's really not that hard. As usual, start by going to Google. Click on the 'Images' tab and type 'Elmo cake'. If you see a great face of Elmo, that was done with an Elmo cake mold. From Google, click on 'Web' and type 'Elmo cake mold'. You should find websites that have them, or you can also stay in the Images section and type Elmo cake mold. Then click on that link. In my case, the link goes to: chefdepot.net/cakemolds3.htm. It's part number CDELMOCAKEMOLD. The list price is $24, but they have it for $14.50.
Or, your party store might have one. Just go there and ask if they have any Elmo party supplies. Elmo is big with pre-kindergarteners, so Elmo birthday party supplies shouldn't be that hard to find. Of course on-line you can find anything. I oftentimes go to Images because that way you can see the picture quickly, then click on the link to purchase it. When you click on a link when you're in images you go to a screen which has the website in the bottom part of the window and a tiny thumbnail photo of the picture. If you right-click over the website link where it says "below is the image at: linkname", click over where it says the linkname and select 'Copy shortcut'. Then click next to thwer eit lets you past a URL address such as http://www.google.com at the top of Internet explorer and click there. It'll turn blue. Press the CTRL key and the V key to paste that website's link into the gadget, then press RETURN to go there. That way you'll be at the actual site, rather than at Google's page which POINTS to that site. Then you can create a 'Favorites' link that points to that site so you can go there later. If you want really cheap Elmo sesame street party supplies, look for some that might have a small rip in the plastic or a footprint, then show it to the clerk and ask if you can have any off on the item because of the damage. Something like that can easily be mended from the back with invisible tape and it'll be good-as-new. Don't forget, to make the party complete, to purchase Elmo invitations. Or, make some if you have Microsoft Publisher. Just open up Publisher, choose 'invitations', select a generic form that might suit your needs. Then click on the pictures it gives you and press the 'Delete' key. The picture goes away. To past in pictures of Elmo, just go to images on the internet, right-click the picture you want to grab and choose 'Copy'. Then, go back to Publisher and do an 'Edit->Paste' (or press CTRL-V). Size Elmo by dragging a corner circle and moving it diagonally. If the picture is bigger than the page, drag the image down-and-to-the-left until you can see the corner adjustment circle. Then drag the corner control down-and-to-the-left to make it smaller. Pull the center of the picture to pull it back where you want it. Thinking of your child ahead-of-time by purchasing Elmo party supplies will make them very happy. |
