Having A College Football Party? You'll Need Football Party SuppliesWhen football season arrives, football party supplies are what you need. Party stores carry everything; so the first place you should start is there. Some thoughts are, of course, goal posts. Guys just aren't into decorating as much as girls are, so get your wife or girlfriend to do the decorations if you can; however, if you're adventurous - do it yourself. I would, but I like doing anything¡ including the things that girls like to do. I've done manly things like go cross-country by bicycle over 8800 miles in the grueling heat and down to zero with a wind-chill of minus forty degrees¡ but I also create things by sewing on a sewing machine, and I'd just as much love to decorate a room for a football party that's coming up. So what if the guys might think you're strange. I'm strange, and I'm three times as strange as you are; go ahead, be daring. It's the reason I used to wear my hair in a pony tail; just to say, "Nyah nyah. I'm bold and you're not!"
Start by typing something like 'football birthday party supplies' into Google. I always start any project by doing that, no matter what I'm researching. One cheap way is always to buy printed cardboard plates. They oftentimes have associated cups with the same design, and napkins which have similar colors. This is what women do. The first thing they'll do is they buy colorful plates. The reason they do that is, it's cheap and guys love things that are cheap, at least I do. Most of the time, if you're going to have a football party, it means you're in college. So, go into a party store and ask if they have any college football party supplies. You probably already have a ton of things you could use to decorate the room. Decorate it with football pads, footballs, hang your Football shirt on the wall, ask your friends if they have any that you could also hang on the wall. Football jerseys are so expensive, most people don't have more than a couple. Don't forget snacks. Nothing beats stacks at a football party. Get some Tortilla chips, some avocado dip, Doritos, Cheetos, and lots of beer. When you purchase the beer, make sure that you get many different kinds. If it's going to be that big a party, consider getting a keg. As for football party decorations, another cheap way that you can quickly dress up the room is to buy a plain-colored tissue table cover. Plain green works good. Green is always a good color for football parties. Most guys aren't much for baking a cake, but you can usually go to your local supermarket and order a football cake. If you're either adventurous, yourself, or your wife will help you¡ she might buy a football-shaped mold for you. That way you could have her make a chocolate cake in the shape of a football. Color the frosting to look about the color of a football, and then drag white frosting down the center and in two lines across it to complete the effect. I can't say that guys tend to appreciate things like that, though. People are too busy watching the game to notice that the cake is shaped like a football. I don't really understand why girls notice stuff like that, but guys usually couldn't care less. Women would love it if guys thought like that, but they usually don't. Most guys would just go out to the party store (if they'd even do that) and ask for nfl party supplies. It's embarrassing to even do something like that. Guys just don't like doing that. |
